2. Can a triangle have the following angles?

 (i) 55⁰,55⁰  and 80⁰

Solⁿ. A triangle can have the given angles, if the sum of these angles is 180⁰

55⁰+55⁰+80⁰=190⁰≠180⁰

A triangle cannot have following angles.(Ans)

SOLVE THESE SUM :  (ii) 33⁰,74⁰ and 73⁰   (iii) 85⁰,95⁰ and 22⁰

3. Find x, if the angles of a triangle are:

(i) x⁰,x⁰, x⁰

Solⁿ.  

x+x+x =1

Or, 3x=180

 Or, x=60

Therefore x⁰=60⁰ (Ans)

SOLVE THESE SUM :   (ii) x⁰   ,2x⁰ and 2x⁰     (iii) 2x⁰,4x⁰ and 6x⁰
