a. 5y, 3y² and y³                                                    
  = (5 x 3 x 1). (y x y² x y³)
  = (15). (y¹⁺²⁺³)

  =15.y⁶

  =15y⁶ (ans)

b. – 4 y³, -6 yz, 7y⁵z                                                  

= (-4 x -6 x7 )( y³ x y x y⁵)( z x z)                 

= (168)(y³⁺¹⁺⁵)(z¹⁺¹)                                                            

=168 (y⁹) (z²)

=168y⁹z² (ans)
